Care of Glass Countertops

Glass will last for many years with just  basic care.

Wipe up spills or prints with a towel to keep the surface looking sharp.

Clean with Windex and a paper towel. (Spray the Windex onto the paper)

Dried foods may be soaked for a minute to loosen or dissolve them. Wipe with a sponge.

Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Do not use Fantastic or 409, they create a haze.

Slight scratches may develop. This is natural.

Larger scratches may be polished out by machine. Call for service.

Glass does not stain.

Hot liquids will not damage the surface.

Do not cut directly on glass. Use a cutting board.

If the glass top has a painted backer be careful not to scratch the bottom paint coat.
